HALLMARK NEWS EXPRESS CARE & FRIENDSHIP MONTH FOREVER FRIENDS BEAR PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. The Promotion commences on 1st July 2008 and closes at 5pm on 1st August 2008 (“the Promotion Period”) and will be conducted in News Express Stores which are Hallmark Alliance Member Stores and which choose to take part in the Promotion (“Participating Stores”).

3. The Offer is open to residents of Australia who attend a Participating Store during the Promotion Period (“the Customer”) and purchase any Hallmark Forever Friends or Wellington Bear Product (“the Purchase”). For each Purchase, the Customer will receive an Entry Form for the Prize Draw in that Participating Store.

4. The Customer must fully and legibly complete their details on the Entry Form and place it in the entry barrel and the Participating Store in which they made their Purchase during the Promotion Period.

5. A Prize Draw will take place at each Participating Store at 5pm on Saturday 2nd August 2008. The first valid entry drawn at each Participating Store will win a giant 36 inch Forever Friends Plush Bear valued at $499.95. The total value of prizes in the Promotion is$72,492.75.

6. The Prize Winners will be notified by mail and phone and their names published in The Australian Newspaper on 2nd September 2008.

7. Entry Forms are void if stolen, forged, mutilated, photocopied or tampered with in any way. Only original Entry Forms will be acceptedand are only valid for the Prize Draw of the Participating Store in which the Card Purchase is made. Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions in any way or any Entry Form not completely or legibly filled out including name, address and phone number will be deemed invalid and a further entry or entries will be drawn until the a valid entry has been drawn.

8. Customers with winning entries may redeem their Prize at the Participating Store where their winning entry was drawn only. Customers may not make a claim at another Participating Store and the Prize may not be exchanged for another product or cash. Customers with winning entries must redeem their Prize by no later than 4:59pm on 1st November 2008.

9. Unclaimed Prizes will form part of a re-draw at the relevant Participating Store(s) at 5pm on 2nd November 2008.

10. If the advertised Prize is not available, the Promoter may in its sole discretion substitute another Prize of equal value and/or specification subject to the requirements of any regulatory authority.

11. Entry is not available to employees of the Promoter, Participating Stores, companies or agencies associated with this Promotion or the immediate families of any such employees, meaning any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or adopted), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or first cousin.

12. The Promoter reserves the right at any time to verify the validity of any claim and to verify the identity of the Customer. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any time does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

13. In the event of any dispute regarding the conduct of this Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. If the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated dues to any circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion and to the fullest extent permitted by law to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion as appropriate, subject to the requirements of any regulatory authority.

15. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) shall not be liable for any manufacturer’s defects in Prizes or for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of taking a Prize, failing to take a Prize, participation in the Promotion, any decision of the Promoter including any variation of any aspect of the Promotion.

16. The laws of Australia apply to this Promotion and the Customer submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

17. The Promoter is Hallmark Cards Australia Limited of 10 Caribbean Drive Scoresby in the State of Victoria Australia 3179 ACN 004 058 646.
